Dar Global Achieves Remarkable 66% Revenue Growth in First Half of 2026
Dar Global's Impressive Financial Performance in 2026
In a recent announcement, Dar Global, recognized for its luxury international real estate development, reported exceptional interim results for the first half of the financial year 2026. The unaudited figures show a remarkable 66% increase in revenue, amounting to $258 million, compared to $155.4 million during the same period last year. This growth can be attributed to a robust demand for the company's projects across various regions including the GCC, Europe, and the UK.
Key Financial Highlights
Notably, the gross profit also showed a striking growth of 85%, totaling $87.7 million, which effectively raised the profit margins to 34%, up from 31% in the previous year. Furthermore, the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) climbed by 73% to reach $46.3 million. The net profit reflected an impressive surge of 149%, achieving a total of $30.4 million, far exceeding the $12.2 million reported in HY 2025.
Strengthening Portfolio Value
The company’s Gross Development Value (GDV) nearly doubled in comparison to the previous year, reaching a staggering $23 billion. This increase was fueled by cumulative contracted sales, which escalated to $3.9 billion across 4,380 units. Dar Global emphasized its solid financial footing, highlighted by a Net Asset Value of $613.3 million and cash reserves amounting to $847.9 million, of which $231.6 million is classified as free cash, ensuring a total available liquidity of $579.3 million.
Strategic Partnerships and Projects
In Saudi Arabia, Dar Global partnered with The Trump Organization in January to develop a luxury gated community named Rayana, spanning 2.6 million square meters in Diriyah. This project features exclusive mansions alongside a championship golf course. Additionally, the company has awarded an infrastructure contract valued at SAR 338 million (approximately $90 million) to Compass and Bin Omairah Company to support the project's development.
Further ventures include the introduction of Trump Plaza Jeddah, which boasts a GDV of $383.6 million, as well as the adjacent Padel Living Residences, valued at $142 million, both situated within the Amaya masterplan.
Future Outlook and Commitment
Dar Global closed a significant $250 million syndicated term loan facility in April, underlining its proactive financial strategies. Following HY 2026, they appointed Gulf Asia Contracting to undertake the construction of the podium for the 80-storey Trump International Hotel Tower, which is positioned on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road.
Ziad El Chaar, the Chief Executive, commented on the company's resilient performance amidst regional uncertainties, attributing success to the quality of their international portfolio. He expressed optimism regarding sustaining growth in GDV in both existing and emerging markets while maintaining a disciplined focus on execution.
With a promising project pipeline and sound capital management, Dar Global is poised to continue generating long-term value for stakeholders and further solidifying its stature within the luxury real estate market.
Conclusion
Dar Global’s strong financial results for the first half of 2026 reflect its strategic initiatives and robust market presence. With its ongoing commitment to quality and excellence, the company is well-positioned to navigate future challenges in the dynamic real estate landscape.
