Alex Maxfield: New Commercial Revenue Officer


Alex Maxfield takes on the role of Commercial Revenue Officer, where he’s set to lead IndySoft’s revenue generation strategy across sales and marketing. With over 27 years in commercial leadership roles within software and instrument technology firms, Maxfield stands as a veteran in the calibration sector. His extensive experience includes 19 years dedicated to the calibration industry, underpinning his readiness to steer the company towards greater commercial success.

Previously, Maxfield made significant contributions at Sciemetric Instruments, where he oversaw international business development across Europe and Asia, particularly focused on automotive quality improvement. He also held key positions at Beamex, a leading calibration solutions provider, where he played a crucial role in expanding the company's reach into sectors such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and energy.

In his new position at IndySoft, Maxfield will not only oversee sales and marketing but will also work to strengthen relationships with customers and partners, further accelerating the company's global growth trajectory.

Chad Dodds: New Chief Technology Officer


Joining Maxfield is Chad Dodds, who is appointed the Chief Technology Officer. With over two decades of experience in metrology and technology leadership, Dodds is poised to enhance the division focused on software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and data handling initiatives. His career reflects a comprehensive understanding of the calibration industry, starting as a calibration technician in the U.S. Air Force’s Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory program.

Dodds continued his journey through laboratory operations and automation at SIMCO Electronics, culminating in a significant tenure at Fluke Corporation. There, he excelled in several roles, including Senior Metrologist and MET/CAL Procedure Development Manager, before leading IT and automation initiatives at Transcat.

His blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership experience highlights his capability to guide IndySoft’s ongoing evolution as a leader in calibration management solutions.

Transition for Co-founder Ben Sykes


Co-founder Ben Sykes also embarks on a new chapter within the company, transitioning from Chief Technology Officer to a newly created role of Co-founder and System Architect. With deep institutional knowledge of IndySoft's core technology and platforms, Sykes will focus on high-level technology strategy and system architecture as the company advances its capabilities.
