The 6th Dream Home Art Contest: Encouraging Young Artists
The LIXIL Housing Research Institute's Eyeful Home Company is thrilled to announce the sixth iteration of the 'Dream Home Art Contest', running from February 2nd to March 13th. This contest is aimed at children aged 12 and younger, encouraging them to express their imagination through art. The theme is centered around what kind of dream house they would like to live in: "What kind of house would be wonderful to have?"
Contest Details
Participants can submit their artwork in one of two categories: coloring and drawing. The judging panel will include both company employees and external designers. A special addition this year is the participation of Kunihiko Yahagi, a leading figure in inquiry-based learning. He will provide valuable insights into evaluating the children's creative expressions and offer personalized feedback on award-winning pieces.
Winners will be awarded gift cards, and exciting prizes await 100 lucky participants through a lottery, including original character 'Kidznar' clear files and keychains.
Eyeful Home prides itself on adopting a 'Kids Design' approach in creating living spaces, focusing on enhancing children's creativity, independence, and curiosity. The artworks submitted will be influential in developing future 'Kids Design' products, fostering the hopes and dreams of the youth as they will play a crucial role in shaping society's future.
