D'Mar Phillips isn’t new to the HR field. His impressive background boasts dual certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). As he steps into his new role, his track record of fostering inclusive and high-performing work environments positions him as a valuable asset to RS. Known for actively engaging employees and promoting organizational growth, D'Mar aims to continue this trend at RS Americas.

D'Mar's education encompasses a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, an MBA, and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix, alongside a Master of Science in Law from Champlain College. His professional journey includes leadership roles in several organizations, notably at Hyliion, Clarus Glassboards, and Tucker Powersports, where he excelled in expanding talent pools and transforming HR departments to meet the demands of today's workplace.

In his role at RS, D'Mar will oversee global people operations and will be key in spearheading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as well as succession planning and employee engagement efforts. His leadership approach emphasizes strategic collaboration, and he thrives on partnering with executive leaders to achieve business objectives through effective people management.

D'Mar’s passion for making a positive impact isn’t limited to corporate life; he is actively involved as the Chief Consultant for Under God's Care (UGC), a faith-based organization that assists underserved communities by providing essential services and housing.

In addition to his professional commitments, D'Mar is a Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoys traveling and cherishing moments with his family. Among his esteemed accomplishments, he takes pride in parenting his daughter, Kiayah Monet' Phillips, and his nephew, Kah' Vanti Bell-Phillips—both teenagers attending Mansfield High School in Texas. He finds inspiration in Dr. Maya Angelou's famous words: “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” This philosophy underlines his commitment to treating every individual with dignity and respect.
