Successful Completion of Oishii Project 2025 with Over 6.9 Million Quiz Responses

Oishii Project 2025 Report

The project, themed "Sustaining a Delicious Earth", took place from May 30 to June 30, aligning with Environment Month. Kuradashi Co., Ltd., headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, successfully executed the campaign aimed at promoting sustainable practices through knowledge about food and the environment.

During this month-long initiative, a quiz campaign encouraged participants to answer questions related to food and environmental knowledge. For each quiz response, Kuradashi pledged to donate 1 yen to the Japan Nature Conservation Association (NACS-J). By the end of the campaign, a staggering total of 6,972,849 quiz answers had been submitted, reaching the cap of 100,000 yen in donations to support conservation efforts.

Campaign Overview

The Oishii Project serves as a platform to provoke thoughts on environmental conservation via the lens of food sustainability. This year marked the second iteration of the project, set to be held annually every June during Environment Month. Collaborating partners, including the loyalty marketing firm, provided avenues for participants to join via the SDGs application, Green Ponta Action, significantly amplifying engagement.

Quiz Details:

  • - Campaign Duration: May 30 - June 30, 2025
  • - Participation: Through the dedicated Oishii Project website or Green Ponta Action application.
  • - Quiz Content: Questions were designed to cultivate knowledge about food and environmental issues.
  • - Incentives: Each quiz answer contributed to donations made to the Japan Nature Conservation Association. Participants also entered a drawing for exciting prizes if they shared their experiences on social media platforms like Instagram and X after completing the quiz.

NACS-J has been spearheading efforts in Japan’s environmental conservation for 70 years. It operates on donations, aimed at educational outreach regarding biodiversity and promoting the importance of nature conservation as a recognized public interest corporation.

Offline Events

In addition to the online quiz campaign, Kuradashi also hosted offline events at various locations. Notably, a workshop for making candles from recycled cooking oil was held at Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, attracting 191 participants.
