The Tokyo Nature Exhibition will be held at the Eco Learning Exchange Facility in Togoshi, Shinagawa Ward from April 12 to May 11, 2025. This engaging event aims to educate visitors about the diversity of nature in Tokyo and the lesser-known creatures that share our urban environment. Admission is free, allowing everyone to participate in this unique experience.

A Unique Digital Experience


At this exhibition, visitors can interact with Tokyo’s natural landscapes through cutting-edge 8K visual technology. One feature, the "Tokyo Nature Scope," allows participants to zoom in on details of the natural world using a small monitor to discover and observe various living creatures. Additionally, the exhibition will feature the "Tama River 360° Tour," which provides an immersive experience of the river’s underwater environment, ranging from its source to its mouth. This exhibition is designed to be enjoyable for both adults and children, encouraging a deeper appreciation of nature.

After fully experiencing the exhibition, attendees are encouraged to explore the actual natural habitats in Tokyo to further connect with the city's wildlife.

Eco-Friendly Facility


The Eco Learning Exchange Facility in Shinagawa is recognized as the first public building in Tokyo to achieve the "Nearly ZEB" certification. Situated within the lush Togoshi Park, the facility offers impactful visual displays across its entire space and features a permanent exhibit titled "Toikake no Jikan," which invites visitors to consider environmental issues from relatable perspectives.

This facility caters to the community with a welcoming lounge open from early morning until night, alongside a kids’ area and various rental spaces, serving as an excellent venue for all generations. The Eco Learning Exchange is designed as an environmentally friendly space, being the first of its kind in Tokyo to earn the Nearly Zero Energy Building certification.

About Nearly ZEB


"ZEB" stands for "Net Zero Energy Building," which refers to buildings designed to minimize energy consumption while maintaining a comfortable indoor environment. These structures balance energy usage with renewable energy sources, aiming for a net-zero energy outcome.
