Grand Reopening of BCT-Bank's Martinsburg Branch



BCT-Bank of Charles Town, renowned as The Community’s Bank, recently unveiled its renovated Martinsburg branch during a special open house event on January 17, 2025. After 23 years of service, the branch received a significant facelift, marking a new era for the bank in the community. The event was attended by notable figures including Aaron Howell, the Senior Vice President and Community Banking Executive for the Eastern Panhandle region, as well as Alice Frazier, the President and CEO of BCT, and Kim McGarrah, the Branch Manager.

The ceremony saw community leaders and BCT clients gather to witness the transformation of a significant banking institution in Martinsburg. A ribbon-cutting was officiated by Randy Lewis, the Interim President and CEO of the Berkeley-Martinsburg Chamber of Commerce, further emphasizing the importance of this occasion to the local business community. Guests enjoyed an array of refreshments catered by local businesses, creating a festive atmosphere.

In her remarks, Ms. Frazier expressed pride in showcasing the revamped branch. "After such a long time, it was undoubtedly time for an HGTV-style makeover! We are incredibly grateful to our clients and local business leaders for joining in on this exciting reveal. We aspire for this renovation—and others planned throughout our branches—to enhance our clients' experiences significantly," she stated.

The Martinsburg branch, which originally opened its doors in 2001, has steadily grown to become BCT's second-largest branch in terms of deposits and client accounts. BCT maintains a solid presence in Berkeley County with another branch located in Hedgesville, illustrating the bank’s commitment to serving the local community effectively.

Located at 9738 Tuscarora Pike, the Martinsburg branch offers a full suite of banking services. Customers can access various services such as deposit and savings accounts, retail and business lending, trust and investment services, as well as mortgage lending. The branch's operating hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to Noon. They also provide convenient drive-through service.
