Sunshine City Corporation's Major Changes
In anticipation of its 50th anniversary in 2028, Sunshine City Corporation has announced that it will implement significant organizational changes and introduce an executive officer system effective April 1, 2026. This decision comes in light of the evolving business environment and the need for extensive urban redevelopment and renovations.
Introduction of Executive Officer System
The newly established system aims to better separate governance and operational execution functions within the company. This will enhance governance and allow for more agile decision-making processes, while also clarifying accountability aligned with the company’s fiscal year. The motivation behind this adjustment is to facilitate major redevelopment projects and improve overall group management as Sunshine City prepares for the next 50 years of its operations.
Organizational Changes
In line with its mission, vision, and values, Sunshine City will also create a new department—
Operational Planning Department—which will focus on urban redevelopment and implementation of wide-ranging renovations to increase the overall value of the Sunshine City area. As part of this restructuring, the
Real Estate Development Office and its external Property Management (PM) unit will transition to the new department. Additionally, a
PM Strategy Office will be established within the Operational Planning Department to further enhance the management of property and development strategies.
