Japanese Athletes Join SENOBIRU's Initiative to Empower Female Athletes

In a move to bolster support for female athletes, SENOBIRU, a supplement brand established by Emotore, has announced support contracts with Japan's track and field representatives Makiko Morimoto, Ayane Yanai, and Jennifer Matsunaga. As of September 1, 2025, these athletes will join the "Team AthReady" program, which aims to increase the number of athletes competing on a global scale.

What is Team AthReady?

"Team AthReady" is a project co-developed by SENOBIRU and Asuka Terada, a prominent 100m hurdles athlete, centered around the launch of their female athlete-focused supplement, AthReady, in January 2024. The project not only provides access to SENOBIRU products but also supports conditioning and activities for female athletes.

Asuka Terada was the first athlete to join Team AthReady, and since then, other sports figures like professional tennis player Haruka Kaji and soccer player Akira Suzuki have also signed on. The increased visibility and support generated by Terada and other contracted athletes through events specifically geared towards women’s athletics have significantly raised awareness of AthReady. Athletes using this product have reported positive experiences, leading to a growing community supporting female athletes.

With the new contract with Morimoto and her fellow athletes, they will have access to both AthReady and SENOBIRU's energy gel, aimed at maintaining their daily conditioning and enhancing their performance during competitions.

Voices from the Athletes

Makiko Morimoto, who has made a significant impact in the athletic world, mentions that she plans to utilize the products for her daily conditioning. “During the summer, I like to mix the AthReady powder with ice cubes for a refreshing drink,” she states. “It's convenient to carry with me on both domestic and international trips. I want to continue using AthReady to shine as both an athlete and a woman!”

Ayane Yanai appreciates the product's refreshing flavor, stating, “The aftertaste is clean, and I can drink it like a juice. Ever since I started, I feel energetic in the mornings. I also use the energy gel during matches and long practices. The apple flavor is easy to consume, and it keeps my energy stable, allowing me to focus on my training.” Yanai expresses her enthusiasm for utilizing these tools to meet her sporting goals.

Jennifer Matsunaga, praised for her achievements, shares that the AthReady supplements have become part of her nighttime routine. “I enjoy it warm before bed; it’s a relaxing end to my day,” she explains. “I try to manage my nutrition, but on days when I'm out or feeling unwell, having AthReady gives me peace of mind. Plus, the lemon flavor is refreshing even after tough summer training.” She feels proud to be part of Team AthReady, knowing the rigorous training of Japan's top female athletes.
