Infomart Continues Its Support for Hokkaido Rugby Day 2026
Infomart, a company known for leveraging digital technology to streamline various business operations, has announced its continued support for the Hokkaido Rugby Day 2026, marking its third consecutive year as a sponsor. This event is organized by the Hokkaido Rugby Football Association and serves as an annual celebration of rugby in the region.
The Hokkaido Rugby Day began in 2022 as a way to carry forward the inspiring legacy of the 2019 Rugby World Cup. This event aims to revitalize the local community and promote sports culture in Hokkaido by organizing rugby matches throughout the year, coinciding with League One fixtures and other events.
Since opening its Sapporo office in March 2024, Infomart has engaged actively with the Hokkaido community, embracing the values of youth development and regional revitalization that the event promotes. It has deeply resonated with Infomart’s mission to connect people through the sport of rugby, especially as the company aims to support the challenges faced by the next generation.
This year, Infomart will serve as the match day sponsor for a significant event on April 5, 2026. The match, part of the NTT Japan Rugby League One 2025-26 Division 1 Conference A, will see the Toshiba Brave Lupus Tokyo face off against the Urayasu D-Rocks at the Yamato House Premist Dome (Sapporo Dome), kicking off at 1:00 PM.
Additionally, Infomart will be involved in four other matches throughout the year, including the Taiyo Life Women's Sevens Series 2026 Grand Final on August 9, and the Northern Japan University Exchange Championship on October 25. Infomart maintains its commitment to supporting events that foster community development and engagement through rugby.
Infomart's Director, Ken Nakashima, expressed his enthusiasm about reaching the third year of sponsorship for Hokkaido Rugby Day. He noted that since opening the Sapporo office, the company has received tremendous support from the local community. The spirit of rugby, epitomized by the motto 'One for All, All for One,' aligns closely with Infomart’s philosophy of strengthening societal connections through digital transformation.
Both companies are eager to further enrich the rugby experience for fans in Hokkaido. Atsushi Tsugaru, president of the Hokkaido Rugby Football Association, conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Infomart for its generous sponsorship of the match day. He emphasized that the sponsorship will help showcase the value of rugby, the excitement of League One matches, and instill feelings of gratitude and camaraderie among young athletes and their families.
