Mark your calendars! On October 12, 2025, we will celebrate a remarkable milestone—the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea—with THE Madan Festival. This event will take place in the beautiful outdoor space known as 'Forest and Lawn Square' at Yamato University in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture.

The term "Madan" translates to "garden" or "plaza" in Korean, embodying our commitment to creating a vibrant space for cultural exchange. This festival promises a variety of engaging activities that highlight the rich heritage of both countries through food, music, and fashion.

What To Expect


At the Forest and Lawn Square, you will find a diverse array of booths catering to both children and adults. Here's a sneak peek of what to look forward to:

1. Gourmet Booths: Indulge in the culinary delights of both countries with K-Café offerings, Korean dishes, and popular Japanese street food.
2. Experience Booths: Dive into cultural immersion by trying on traditional Korean 'chogori' clothing, experience Korean makeup applications, and engage in the world’s first 'paper craft drone' experience!
3. Merchandise Booths: Explore a selection of goods, including Korean food and cosmetics, K-POP merchandise, handcrafted accessories, rice, miscellaneous goods, and study abroad information for universities in South Korea.
4. Children's Carnival Booth: Fun for the kids will include traditional games like super ball scooping, bingo, shooting games, kick darts, lucky balls, and a gigantic inflatable slide.
