Our COO, Makoto Motomura, serves as the Executive Vice Chairperson of the event, and employees from ISFnet Group will participate as both runners and volunteer staff. Impressively, this marks our 14th consecutive year of support since the event's inception.

About the NIPPON IT Charity EKIDEN

The "NIPPON IT Charity EKIDEN" aims to address the growing issue of unemployment within the IT sector, which, despite its vibrant image, has unfortunately created a demographic of vulnerable non-workers. There has been a reported increase in depression tied to the IT industry's challenges. To counteract this, the EKIDEN was established in 2010 with the goal of helping as many unemployed individuals as possible reintegrate into society.
