Hindustan Zinc's Remarkable Achievement in Sustainability

Hindustan Zinc Limited, renowned as India's sole and the world's largest fully integrated zinc producer, has achieved a significant milestone by securing the top position in the SP Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) for 2025. This marks the third consecutive year that the company has been recognized as the leader in the metals and mining sector on a global scale.

A Global Leader in Sustainability

Hindustan Zinc's impressive score of 90 out of 100 places it ahead of 235 companies worldwide, making this its highest score in the last five years. The SP Global CSA is a prestigious evaluation framework that scrutinizes Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices across various industries. Hindustan Zinc’s consistent performance underscores its commitment to sustainable development within the mining sector, establishing it as a beacon for corporate responsibility and sustainable practices.

Commitment to Responsible Mining

Under the leadership of its Chairperson, Priya Agarwal Hebbar, Hindustan Zinc has prioritized an integrated sustainability approach that encompasses renewable energy transition, water conservation, effective waste management, safety, and social impact initiatives.
