LIFULL Investment's Financial Backing for HUBEX Akihabara Apartment Development

LIFULL Investment and its Role in HUBEX Akihabara Development

On July 10, 2025, LIFULL Investment, a group company of LIFULL based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, announced its participation in the development of HUBEX Akihabara, an apartment hotel. This investment is being executed through the LIFULL Regional Revitalization No. 2 Fund, which focuses on projects that contribute to regional development and address social issues.

Overview of the Project

The HUBEX Akihabara development is part of a collaborative initiative among LIFULL Investment, Ono Construction Co., Ltd., and R Bank, Inc. This partnership, formalized on March 5, 2025, aims to leverage the increasing number of foreign visitors to Japan, promoting inbound tourism from Tokyo to regional areas. The ultimate goal is to stimulate local economies and enhance tourism in the area.

The LIFULL Regional Revitalization No. 2 Fund operates with a mission to financially support projects that contribute to local revitalization through effective use of real estate. In this project, the fund will utilize a scheme that has proven effective with the LIFULL Regional Revitalization No. 1 Fund, focusing on special purpose companies specifically designed for qualified investors. Notably, LIFULL Investment will provide mezzanine loans in addition to the fund's investments.
