Furniture China 2025 - Breaking New Records
The prestigious Furniture China 2025, organized by the China National Furniture Association and Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa Markets, recently celebrated its 30th edition at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from September 10 to 13, 2025. This year's event was marked by extraordinary participation under the innovative theme "BEYOND NEXT," which encapsulated the spirit of forward-thinking design and lifestyle solutions.
Record Attendance
Setting a new benchmark, this edition attracted a staggering total of
163,527 visitors from
174 countries and regions, highlighting the exhibition’s global significance. Notably, the number of overseas attendees soared to
32,618, representing a
13.9% increase compared to the previous year, indicating a growing international recognition of the event.
Exhibition Highlights
Spanning a vast area of
350,000 square meters, the exhibitions showcased over
3,200 exhibitors, offering a wide range of products from finished furniture to raw materials and next-generation smart manufacturing solutions. Significant zones included the
Outdoor Garden Furniture Pavilion and the
FMC Premium area at SNIEC, setting benchmarks in sustainable and high-quality production practices.
The
Maison Shanghai event along with Furniture China received tremendous attention, displaying more than
800 design-focused brands across four thematic zones. Of particular interest was the
H3 Design Highland Pavilion, which attracted considerable attention from industry leaders, media representatives, and buyers alike, reinforcing its status as a pivotal event for design-centric exhibitions.
Growth and Innovation
Maison Shanghai reported a phenomenal increase in attendance, registering
47,077 visitors, a massive
55.6% growth from the previous edition, and overseas presence surged by an impressive
123%. The event also featured over
100 forums and events aimed at promoting lifestyle design and cultural creativity. Noteworthy initiatives included the
Gold Idea Design Award,
CREDAWARD, and the
Maison Design Forum, which focused on celebrating innovation, heritage, sustainability, and the exchange of ideas between the East and West.
Digital Expansion
In a bid to enhance engagement beyond the physical exhibition, the organizers launched the
DTS FurnitureChina APP. This digital platform allows businesses to connect throughout the year, facilitating AI-driven matchmaking, exhibitor catalogs, and ongoing networking opportunities.
