2025 USA Wealth Report: America Leads in Global Wealth Growth but Rich Seek Opportunities Abroad
USA Wealth Report 2025
In light of a challenging beginning of 2025, the United States has reaffirmed its position as the premier global hub for private wealth. The recently published USA Wealth Report 2025 by Henley & Partners highlights that the US is home to more than six million high-net-worth individuals, each possessing investable assets exceeding one million dollars. This remarkable financial prowess translates to an astonishing 34% of the world's liquid wealth, along with 37% of the total global millionaire population.
Among the ultra-wealthy, the statistics are even more striking: the US houses 36% of the world's centi-millionaires (individuals with assets over 100 million dollars) and 33% of billionaires, showcasing the country’s dominance in wealth accumulation when compared to other nations. The report provides insights into an evolving trend – while the US still attracts considerable foreign wealth migration, a significant portion of affluent Americans are now exploring opportunities for residence and citizenship overseas. In fact, as of 2025, American citizens represent over 30% of all investment migration applications submitted via Henley & Partners, a figure nearly twice as high as those from the next five nationalities combined, which includes Turkey, India, and the UK.
