Contour Airlines Expands Travel Options from DuBois Regional Airport
Contour Airlines proudly announces their new nonstop jet service from DuBois Regional Airport (DUJ), which will commence on February 1, 2027. This initiative marks a significant enhancement in travel convenience for the local community and surrounding regions. Through these new routes, travelers will have direct access to two major hubs: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD).
Increased Connectivity
The new services will be particularly beneficial for residents, business travelers, and tourists alike, as they offer straightforward connections to a wide array of destinations across the United States and beyond. This means local travelers can now avoid the hassle of commuting to larger airports, allowing for a more streamlined travel experience.
Ben Munson, President of Contour Airlines, expressed the company's commitment to the DuBois community. He stated, “Reliable air service is vital for a region—whether for facilitating local business interactions, simplifying travel for residents, or attracting visitors to the area. We are excited to meet the needs of our community.”
Route Details
Contour Airlines will operate these routes using its fleet of 30-seat regional jet aircraft. These jets are designed to provide a comfortable flight experience, complete with extra legroom, complimentary snacks, and attentive inflight service.
The service to Atlanta will be available daily, while the Chicago route will operate five days a week:
