The Role of Chief Marketing Officer

Garrihy's responsibilities as CMO will primarily revolve around driving the next phase of OLX's marketing strategy. With nearly 60 million daily listings scattered across seven markets, OLX needs a leader who can effectively communicate and amplify the value of its diverse global marketplaces. Garrihy's focus will also include embedding Artificial Intelligence (AI) deeply into OLX's marketing functions.

A Seasoned Marketer

Andrew Garrihy brings a wealth of international marketing expertise, having worked in over 170 countries across different sectors. His previous role as CMO of OLX Autos allowed him to gain valuable insights into the company's operations. He also served as a Senior Advisor to OLX prior to assuming his position on the Executive Team. Garrihy's background is not only impressive but also varied; he has held senior roles at prominent technology companies like Huawei, Qualcomm, Samsung, and Vodafone, where he led global teams in enhancing brand presence across EMEA, Asia, and LATAM.

Recognized as a full-stack marketer, Garrihy possesses a unique blend of strategic planning and technical skill. His experience includes hands-on work with building AI agents and designing digital products. Embracing Artificial Intelligence

Garrihy's appointment comes at an exciting time for OLX Group. The company reported a remarkable 28% increase in global revenue, reaching $992 million for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.
