Prior to this role at PNC, Dr. Ma served as Chief Investment Officer for BMO Wealth Management, where he led significant initiatives in asset allocation, market analysis, and portfolio construction. His previous experience also includes serving as Chief Investment Strategist at BMO, where he managed strategic and tactical asset allocations for client portfolios and coordinated a diverse team of strategists and specialists across the organization. From 2009 to 2016, Dr. Ma contributed to academia as an assistant professor of finance at Lehigh University, where he taught courses related to investments in equities, fixed income, and derivatives.
