2026 Children's Summer Camp: Nature Adventures Await

Summer is a time for exploration and adventure, especially for children. In 2026, Yume Shokunin, a certified non-profit organization dedicated to social education, is launching a series of engaging summer camps for elementary and middle school students. The camps, which will be available during July and August, promise an unforgettable experience immersing kids in nature and promoting social interactions.

At Yume Shokunin, we believe in the power of learning through experience, summed up by our motto, "Exciting Experiences, Resonating Learning." Our summer camps, integrated into our Kids Club activities, offer a variety of programs that encourage group participation among varied age groups. The application process for Kids Club members begins on May 12, 2026, at noon, and for new applicants, on May 19, 2026, at noon. Since spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, early registration is recommended to secure a place for your child.

Camp Offerings for Summer 2026

We are excited to announce four unique summer camp programs available during the school break:

1. Creating Together! Children’s Village Course (3 Nights, 4 Days)
- Dates: July 23-26, 2026
- Location: Samegawa Village, Fukushima
- Gathering Point: Ueno Station (Iriya Exit)
- Transport: Limited express train (reserved seats) & shuttle bus
- Ages: 3rd grade to 3rd year middle school (Kids Club members)
- Capacity: Minimum 16, Maximum 20 participants
- Activities: Agriculture experiences, animal care (chickens, goats, dogs), nature play, wood chopping, making homemade pizza, and more.

2. Playing in Yatsugatake! River and Forest Course (3 Nights, 4 Days)
- Dates: July 29 - August 1, 2026
- Location: Hokuto City, Yamanashi
- Gathering Point: Kinshicho & Monzen Nakacho
- Transport: Charter bus
- Ages: 1st grade to 3rd year middle school (Kids Club members)
- Capacity: Minimum 30, Maximum 35 participants
- Activities: Outdoor cooking, river play, hiking, crafting, and campfire activities.

3. Playing by the Sea in Oarai! Sea Course (2 Nights, 3 Days)
- Dates: August 4-6, 2026
- Location: Hokota City & Oarai Town, Ibaraki
- Gathering Point: Kinshicho & Monzen Nakacho
- Transport: Charter bus
- Ages: 1st grade to 3rd year middle school (Kids Club members)
- Capacity: Minimum 30, Maximum 35 participants
- Activities: BBQ, beach activities, raft experience, aquarium visits, and backstage tours.

4. Tent Camping! Authentic Outdoor Course (2 Nights, 3 Days)
- Dates: August 20-22, 2026
- Location: Hokuto City, Yamanashi
- Gathering Point: Kinshicho & Monzen Nakacho
- Transport: Charter bus
- Ages: 3rd grade to 3rd year middle school (Kids Club members)
- Capacity: Minimum 30, Maximum 35 participants
- Activities: Fire-making techniques, wilderness cooking, knife skills, bow and arrow crafting, and building shelters.
