Experience the Enchanting Night Visit at Zuihō-ji

From October 24 to November 24, 2025, the historic Zuihō-ji temple in Matsushima, Miyagi, will transform into a magical space during the 'NAKED Matsushima: Autumn Night Visit' event. This extraordinary occasion invites visitors to enjoy the beauty of the temple illuminated by artistic projection mapping and immersive soundscapes.

The Significance of This Event

Unlike regular temple tours, this event offers a unique opportunity to experience Zuihō-ji’s heritage in an entirely new light—quite literally—by merging traditional spirituality with contemporary art and technology. The autumn atmosphere of Matsushima, renowned for its stunning natural beauty, creates an ideal backdrop for this innovative experience. Visitors will be able to connect with Japan’s cultural heritage through this remarkable blending of history and modernity.

Aiming to enhance visitor convenience, Goodfellows JTB's online ticketing system, Webket®, will facilitate smooth entry, contributing to a pre-purchased ticketing approach that alleviates congestion and promotes a paperless environment.
