Tres Agaves Tequila Expands into the European Market
On October 1, 2026,
Tres Agaves Tequila, a family-owned producer based in Mexico's renowned Tequila Valley, officially launched its premium tequila brand in the
United Kingdom and
Ireland. This marks a significant step for the brand as it enters the European market, attracting both hospitality and independent retail sectors. The expansion will continue to include Germany, Switzerland, the Nordic countries, and Spain, with a formal presentation at the
Bar Convent Berlin in mid-October.
Tres Agaves is celebrated for producing top-quality tequila made from 100% agave sourced from a single origin in Amatitán, the heartland of tequila production. After almost twenty years of cultivating direct relationships with local growers, the brand has become known for its organic certifications from both the USDA and Mexico, as well as a registered production standard under the
NOM. These credentials have solidified Tres Agaves' reputation in U.S. bars, and now, for the first time, European bartenders and retailers will have access to these unique offerings.
According to Thomas Vogele, the vice president of international sales at Trinchero Family Wine & Spirits, “Tequila is one of the fastest-growing spirit categories in Europe, and bartenders are increasingly looking for brands with authentic origins.” He continued, “Tres Agaves provides the industry with a uniquely sourced organic tequila, crafted by a genuine family producer, at an affordable price for everyday bar use rather than just high-end shelf displays.”
Market analysts predict that the European tequila market will reach an estimated
$2.49 billion in revenue by 2030, with a nearly
9.6% compound annual growth rate from 2025 to 2030. Furthermore, Tres Agaves has reported a staggering
769% growth year-to-date within the export division of Trinchero, highlighting the increasing popularity and demand for premium tequila. In the U.S., the brand was recently recognized as one of the “
Hot Prospects 2026” by Shanken’s Impact, which identifies the fastest-growing spirit brands in the country. With this expanding market potential, Tres Agaves is eager to share its range of organic tequilas with bartenders and consumers across the UK and Ireland, fueling the momentum of this vibrant spirits category.
