Guide Energy Solutions Acquires EnviroKlean's Completions Division
In an exciting development for the oil and gas industry,
Guide Energy Solutions has finalized the acquisition of
EnviroKlean, Inc.'s Completions Division. This strategic move involves the purchase of the
EK FracReady division, which is known for its advanced mobile water treatment solutions. Along with this acquisition, Guide has also secured exclusive access to EnviroKlean's proprietary
EK One™ chemistry platform and the
EK FlowPro™ operating system, enhancing their offerings in the completions market.
This transaction signifies a major step forward for both companies.
Guide Energy Solutions is targeting market share growth in the Permian Basin's water segment, backed by EnviroKlean's state-of-the-art autonomous mobile systems. These systems are designed for real-time adjustments during fracturing processes, which can significantly reduce costs while increasing efficiency. The integration of EnviroKlean’s technology allows Guide to manage the complete fracturing chemistry, optimizing the entire fluid system.
Cody Sutton, CEO of Guide Energy Solutions, expressed his enthusiasm for this acquisition, stating, "We spent the last year studying the complex water challenges faced by our clients. Discovering EnviroKlean's unique frac-on-the-fly solution revealed its dynamic approach toward these challenges. Their system can autonomously adjust the chemical dosing in real-time, which we believe will yield outstanding results in well performance."
The rebranding of the combined technologies will happen under the
Axi™ Clean product line. With Guide now able to tap into the EK One chemistry platform, they are also well-positioned to explore opportunities in
Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), including essentials like water-flooding and well re-stimulation.
John Williams, President of EnviroKlean, noted the respect that his team has for Guide’s approach to performance enhancement. He highlighted their participation in Guide's frac-on-the-fly market study as a key moment, with the conclusion that EnviroKlean's solution offers substantial operational benefits for customers. Williams stated, "The significant financial and operational benefits we can now provide to Guide’s customers through our partnership will transform market dynamics."
Robert Rolfe, CEO of EnviroKlean, emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in growing their chemical manufacturing business. He pointed out that finding world-class distribution partners is crucial for leveraging their intellectual property in various market segments. Rolfe stated, "This collaboration with Guide—a highly respected leader in the industry—represents a true 'win/win' for both organizations, aligning our core values completely."
EnviroKlean is known for its comprehensive water treatment solutions, which are vital in sustaining infrastructure and improving productivity within the produced water lifecycle.
