Sungrow’s Landmark Achievement in Solar Energy
Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., globally recognized as a leader in renewable energy solutions, recently announced its key role in the installation of Scandinavia's largest rooftop photovoltaic (PV) system. This monumental project is based at a logistics facility managed by DSV in Landskrona, Sweden.
Overview of the Project
Spanning an impressive 100,000 square meters, the rooftop is equipped with 24,000 solar modules, generating up to 14 MWp of direct current electricity. This solar power generation will significantly contribute to the energy needs of DSV’s facilities, which cover 175,000 square meters, including one of the largest cold storage warehouses in the region.
To bring this project to fruition, 34 units of Sungrow's SG350HX string inverters and 20 units of the SG250HX were employed. The SG350HX is particularly notable for its capability to handle high-performance modules with currents up to 20 A per string, ensuring maximum efficiency with an impressive 99% performance rate.
