The redesign focuses on creating an interactive space where visitors, particularly children, can easily understand the importance and mechanisms behind home appliance recycling.

Visitors will gain insights into everyday appliances such as televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines. The exhibit will illustrate their composition, recycling processes, and disposal methods for smaller electronics like gaming consoles and mobile batteries through engaging visuals, hands-on exhibits, and games.

Additionally, exclusive behind-the-scenes videos will showcase how discarded appliances are transformed into recycled materials at home appliance recycling plants, providing an immersive experience that resonates with visitors.

With this substantial renovation, the newly transformed exhibit aims to demonstrate the pivotal role of home appliance recycling in reducing environmental impact and fostering a sustainable society.

Featuring three distinct thematic areas, the exhibit allows attendees to learn through play and exploration:

1. RECYCLE PLANET - This area allows visitors to view Earth from a spacecraft, experiencing the relationship between recycling and our planet firsthand. It imparts knowledge about the finite nature of natural resources used in electronics and emphasizes the necessity of recycling.

2. RECYCLE TOWN - Visitors will discover the history of recycling from the Edo period to the present, learning the correct disposal methods for various products, including non-large home appliances. This area utilizes videos and actual displays to illustrate how recycled materials can are repurposed.

3. RECYCLE FACTORY - Here, attendees will engage with realistic footage from recycling plants to understand how appliances are dismantled and sorted into new materials, promoting a dynamic and educational environment.
