The founder, Utsumi, has spent over 25 years in the IT industry focusing on corporate sales. Throughout his career, he frequently observed the limitations of decision-making where data was present, but the ability to interpret that data was confined to a select few. Even with expensive tools in place, if individuals lack the knowledge to read the metrics, they cannot make informed decisions. Utsumi recognized that the disconnect between the numbers seen by management and those on the ground—what he terms the "knowledge gap"—is detrimental to the overall value of data. This realization led to the establishment of mare interno LLC in 2022, specializing in web measurement infrastructure design.

Often, discrepancies in website analytics and advertising metrics stem not from the tools used, but rather from the way those tools are designed. In the future, they intend to expand their efforts in two key directions:
