Virginia Cancer Specialists Appoints Dr. Etan R. Aber as Medical Oncologist to Enhance Research Institute

Aber, MD, PhD, as a medical oncologist at the Virginia Cancer Specialists Research Institute. Dr. Aber is a highly qualified medical oncologist and physician-scientist, recognized for his proficiency in precision oncology and clinical investigation. His extensive training began with the MD/PhD program at Columbia University, where he developed a strong foundation in both medical and scientific disciplines. Following this, Dr. Aber completed a residency in Internal Medicine and further honed his skills during his fellowship in Medical Oncology at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Additionally, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he investigated the biological basis of behavior and led pioneering research in neuroscience.
