Discover Toy Train Adventures in Toshima's Retro Museum

The Tokiwaso Retro Museum, managed by the Toshima Future Cultural Foundation, is set to revive a delightful experience starting February 21, 2026. The event titled "Toy Train DE Toshima Station Tour in Showa's Toy Collection" will feature a detailed recreation of railway lines within Toshima using toy trains, celebrated for its popularity during its prior runs in 2023 and 2024.

Situated in the heart of Toshima, Tokyo, the museum immerses visitors in the vibrant culture of the Showa era, showcasing nostalgic toys that defined a generation. From February 21 to April 12, 2026, guests can wander through the fascinating displays that not only animate the toy train routes but also invite the public to indulge in hands-on experiences with vintage toys.

The museum offers free admission, opening its doors from 10 AM to 6 PM daily, with the last entry at 5:30 PM. An exciting highlight of this event occurs every Saturday, Sunday, and national holiday around 2 PM, featuring the thrilling "Toy Train Departing Now!", where all railway lines come to life in an exciting presentation for children and adults alike.

However, it should be noted that certain lines may be temporarily unavailable due to operational requirements, ensuring a unique experience each time one visits.
