General Michael "Erik" Kurilla Joins Operation Healing Forces



Operation Healing Forces (OHF), a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the U.S. Special Operations Forces community, has welcomed retired U.S. Army General Michael "Erik" Kurilla to its Board of Directors. His extensive background in military leadership and personal insight into the challenges faced by combat veterans position him as a powerful advocate for the organization's mission of healing and empowerment.

General Kurilla's impressive military career spans 38 years, during which he held numerous leadership positions, including Commander of United States Central Command (CENTCOM) and Director of Operations for the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). His experiences leading elite units in complex combat environments have equipped him with a profound understanding of the struggles that Special Operations Forces and their families encounter.

In his new role, General Kurilla aims to enhance OHF's initiatives aimed at strengthening the resilience of America’s warriors and their loved ones.
