New Hot Springs Hotel Opening in Yokkaichi
Nestled just a six-minute walk from Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station, the eagerly anticipated Dormy Inn Yokkaichi is ready to welcome guests from March 17, 2026, with a pre-opening on January 19, 2026, for early reservations via its official website. This will mark the second Dormy Inn establishment in Mie Prefecture, following the successful Dormy Inn Tsu.
Features of Dormy Inn Yokkaichi
One of the key attractions of this new hotel is its natural hot spring, "Higoro no Yu." Guests can look forward to indulging in a spacious hot spring bath, complemented by a state-of-the-art high-temperature sauna featuring an auto-rolling system. The hotel also offers various amenities including a cold bath for complete relaxation. In addition, there will be a bountiful breakfast buffet featuring around 50 kinds of Japanese and Western dishes, including local specialties such as Yokkaichi tonteki.
Comprehensive Facilities and Services
The hotel promises an expansive wellness experience with a fully equipped natural hot springs bath. The sauna is designed with comfort in mind, providing an outdoor breathing space for guests to enjoy replacing excessive heat with fresh air. After soaking, guests can sip on complimentary ice cream or lactobacillus beverages. In the evenings, a special light ramen dish known as "Yakan soba," made with light soy sauce, is also offered, enhancing the overall experience.
Ideal Location for Both Leisure and Business
Conveniently located approximately six minutes walking from Kintetsu Yokkaichi Station, the hotel also serves as an ideal base for both business and leisure travelers. Close by are popular attractions such as the Yokkaichi Port Tower, renowned for its evening factory scenery, and the Yokkaichi City Museum, making it a perfect spot for exploring local history and culture.
Local Essence in the Bath "Higoro no Yu"
The name of the hot spring "Higoro no Yu" was selected through an internal campaign by the company, inspired by the local flower of Yokkaichi City, the salvia, known in Japanese as "Higoromosou." The name also represents one of the flower's meanings, "family love,” encapsulating the hope that their guests will feel at home and genuinely relaxed in this space.
