Samsung Introduces AI Life Partner Concept at CES 2026

On January 4th, Samsung Electronics presented its vision of an "AI Life Partner" during the CES 2026 event, held at the Wynn Las Vegas. This event highlights the company’s commitment to integrating AI into its research, development, and user experience, creating an ecosystem that supports users in their everyday life.

TM Roh, CEO of Samsung Electronics and head of Device Experience (DX), delivered a keynote speech illustrating Samsung's leadership in the AI sector and discussing how the company aims to provide genuine AI partner experiences through diverse ecosystems.

"By unifying mobile devices, visual display products, appliances, and services, Samsung will continue to construct a cohesive personal experience. Leveraging AI across various fields will lead to more tangible AI experiences in daily life," said Roh during the presentation.

Entertainment: Beyond Just Viewing Experiences

SW Yong, President of Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung, along with Sukhmani Mohta from Samsung America, showcased how Samsung’s displays, combined with advanced AI visual technology, can transform televisions from mere viewing devices to true entertainment partners.

Samsung has led the television industry for over two decades, and its new AI-powered television lineup promises novel user interactions. At the heart of the lineup is the 130-inch Micro RGB TV, which boasts unparalleled advancements in screen size and picture quality, delivering a rich new spectrum of colors.

The Artness design minimizes visual disturbances while elegantly highlighting visuals. Featuring tiny RGB light sources, this TV achieves an unprecedented level of high-quality imagery. The Micro RGB AI Engine Pro finely calibrates RGB colors, elevating scene clarity to a striking degree.

To enhance the viewing experience, Samsung also introduced the Vision AI Companion (VAC), which leverages AI to enrich home entertainment activities, recommending shows and meals tailored to user preferences. This transforms passive viewing into an engaging, interactive experience.

Innovative Audio Experiences

Samsung, recognized as the top brand in the global soundbar market for the past eleven years, introduced new wireless speakers, Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. These new products promise superior sound quality and a design that merges art with technology, thanks to renowned designer Erwan Bouroullec.

Additionally, Samsung presented new space-friendly products, including the ultra-thin OLED TV S95H and the portable projector The Freestyle+, both of which integrate VAC technology for a seamless viewing experience. The company’s 2026 TV lineup, which includes HDR10+ ADVANCED support and new spatial audio technology called Eclipsa Audio, promises unprecedented viewing quality and gaming experiences.

Smart Home Innovations for Everyday Comfort

Cheolgi Kim, Vice President and head of Digital Appliances (DA) at Samsung, highlighted the evolution of Samsung appliances into true home partners designed to alleviate daily household stress. The Samsung Family Hub, an AI-equipped refrigerator, has been upgraded with Google Gemini AI Vision, streamlining meal planning and food management like never before.

In addition, the "What's for Today?" feature engages users by proposing recipes based on the items in their fridge, significantly reducing the burden of meal planning. With the new FoodNote feature, users can analyze their food consumption patterns weekly for better inventory management.

Samsung is also enhancing laundry experiences with the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, which automates the transfer of laundry between the washer and dryer. Its functionalities, including a Super Speed course and improved drying performance, aim to ease the laundry process.

Evolving Care Support through Proactive Solutions

Finally, at CES, Samsung Research America’s Vice President, Praveen Raja, introduced the company’s long-term vision for intelligent care. By leveraging its ecosystem of devices, Samsung envisions a shift from reactive to proactive health management.

With personalized health coaching and nutritional advice derived from smart fridge data, Samsung aims to empower users while notifying them of any concerning health patterns. Furthermore, the integration of wearable technology will help detect subtle changes in users’ daily activities, signaling potential health issues ahead of time.

Samsung’s Knox security will continuously evolve alongside its AI to safeguard user data while enhancing proactive health care solutions.

The Samsung Exhibition Zone will be open to the public from January 4 to 7, 2026, where visitors can explore these innovative technologies firsthand. For more details, check the Samsung Newsroom.

Through its comprehensive vision at CES 2026, Samsung is laying the groundwork for a future where technology seamlessly integrates into every aspect of life.
