SENAI Secures $6.2 Million for Real-Time Online Video Intelligence Platform

SENAI, a pioneering Online Video Intelligence platform, has successfully raised $6.2 million in a seed funding round led by 10D Ventures, alongside contributions from FS Ventures, 1948 Ventures, and various international investors including Jonathan Kolber. This significant funding will be directed towards enhancing their product development and deploying their technologies across government entities tasked with national security.

In an age where online videos are increasingly recognized as potential channels for security threats, SENAI aims to convert unstructured video content from the internet into precise, actionable insights complemented by geographical specifics. The significance of this initiative is highlighted by the growing need for sophisticated analysis tools to help agencies monitor and respond to potential risks effectively.

With the rise of social media and video content, security incidents often first appear as videos posted online, before any formal reports are released. Despite the abundance of footage available in real-time, the sheer volume presents a daunting challenge for continuous monitoring. Even with the existing moderation practices, the rapid pace of uploads can outstrip human analysts' capabilities, resulting in delayed recognition of hazardous material that may already be proliferating. As a result, governments are confronted with an escalating dilemma: while videos serve as a key signal for potential threats, analyzing this material on a large scale is exceedingly difficult.

Founded less than a year ago, SENAI is now at the forefront of establishing a new intelligence discipline known as Online Video Intelligence (OVINT). Unlike traditional forms of open-source intelligence which emphasize textual or static media, OVINT prioritizes video as the main source of information, documenting live activities rather than just words or images. This fresh perspective enables SENAI to help government and intelligence agencies efficiently track rapidly evolving videos across various platforms, transforming scattered and fragmented content into coherent and organized insights.

Using advanced AI algorithms, SENAI’s platform analyzes numerous aspects of video, audio, and text, as well as spatial data, providing teams with a real-time overview of unfolding events and facilitating timely responses. Over the past year, SENAI has engaged with multiple government agencies throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. While its primary target market remains governmental operations, the dual-use nature of its technology has began to attract interest from corporations, evidenced by a recent partnership with a U.S. client, with plans for broader enterprise solutions in 2026.

SENAI is founded by a dynamic team of intelligence experts with vast experience in the sector. Recently, they have brought on Michel Berdah as the Chief Revenue Officer, whose decade of leadership experience will be vital in advancing SENAI's mission. Co-Founder and CEO David Allouche-Levinsky remarks, "Video has emerged as a vital signal shaping narratives and influencing security outcomes. SENAI was developed specifically to aid decision-makers in protecting their nations against emerging levels of influence and misinformation. By leveraging our technology, intelligence agencies can act sooner, preventing false narratives from solidifying into widely accepted truths that could lead to real-world repercussions."

Emma Lipski, Partner at 10D Ventures, expressed her enthusiasm regarding SENAI’s potential, citing the team's extensive background and the astute recognition of critical gaps in the intelligence landscape. "SENAI is already addressing pressing challenges for government agencies and top-tier clients globally, with a tangible impact that solidified our decision to invest," she noted.

As the digital media landscape continues to evolve, SENAI aims to set the bar for comprehensive Online Video Intelligence, shaping the standards, technologies, and operational frameworks necessary for the future.
