Airvine Unveils WaveCore™ Flex for External Backhaul Solutions in Enterprise Networks
Airvine Introduces WaveCore™ Flex: Revolutionizing Outdoor Connectivity
Airvine, a leading innovator in wireless network solutions, has officially unveiled its latest product, the WaveCore™ Flex. This innovative device addresses the urgent need for reliable outdoor connectivity in enterprise campus networks, particularly for those requiring multi-gigabit speed data transmission without the complications of traditional wiring methods.
Understanding the Flex
The WaveCore™ Flex is designed to complement Airvine's previously released WaveCore system, which is known for providing robust indoor wireless connectivity. This new product extends the functionality to tackle external applications, such as satellite dishes and Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) where high-speed connectivity is required between indoor and outdoor locations. With WaveCore Flex, the cumbersome process of drilling through roofs and walls to install cables becomes a thing of the past.
For example, when installing satellite dishes, the Flex allows for an easy setup by positioning a Flex radio on the roof adjacent to the dish. Instead of drilling, the Flex then connects wirelessly to another Flex unit located indoors, linking to the existing network infrastructure effortlessly. This methodology not only reduces installation time but also mitigates the risk of future leaks and structural damage often associated with traditional methods of connectivity.
Indoor-to-Outdoor Integration
Another innovative application of the WaveCore™ Flex can be seen in the services provided to Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs). Strategically placed near exterior walls, a Flex unit can connect to outdoor units or other nearby buildings. By utilizing the WaveCore Flex for inter-building connectivity, network setups are immensely simplified. The Flex radios can communicate with each other without the necessity of outdoor exposure, removing the need for costly weatherproof housings and the labor of trenching cables.
Market Demand and Benefits
The launch of this technology comes in response to the growing demand for consistent and robust network solutions in various commercial settings.
