Since its establishment on April 1, 2012, the Kanto-Koshinetsu Blood Donation Center has been at the forefront of blood donation efforts in the Kanto-Koshinetsu region, which includes Tokyo and nine surrounding prefectures. About the Kanto-Koshinetsu Blood Donation Center

The Japanese Red Cross Society transitioned to a regional management structure in April 2012, organizing operations into seven blocks across the country to enhance the efficiency and adequacy of blood supply in hospitals. The Kanto-Koshinetsu Blood Donation Center operates under this framework, managing blood donations for the Kanto-Koshinetsu region as a whole.
