On May 14, 2025, Makaira, a consulting firm based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, will host an enlightening event titled The Social Good Academia at the Tokyo Innovation Base (TiB). This unique, one-night-only event aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of the realities and innovations surrounding social business development.

A Platform for Change-Makers


The Social Good Academia program, produced by Makaira Art & Design (MAD), focuses on fostering social entrepreneurs and startups tasked with solving pressing societal challenges. Since its inception in 2022, the program has held three sessions annually, guiding participants on how to examine and accelerate social business ideas through management, marketing, branding, and communication strategies that correspond with their development phases.
