SINTRONES Unveils AI-Powered Imaging Solutions for Electronics and Semiconductor Testing at VISION 2026
From October 6 to 8, 2026, SINTRONES Technology (TPEx: 6680), a leading global provider of robust industrial and edge AI computing solutions, is set to showcase its innovative edge AI computing platforms aimed at machine vision, automated optical inspection (AOI), and semiconductor testing at VISION 2026.
Located in Hall 8, Booth 8D14, SINTRONES aims to transform the electronics and semiconductor industries with their high-performance imaging solutions that accelerate real-time inspections and precision automation.
The Demand for Enhanced Imaging Solutions
As the miniaturization of semiconductors and electronic components continues, the demands for inspection processes are growing increasingly rigorous. High-resolution imaging systems are now essential to detect even the smallest faults at production speeds. Traditional imaging methods must evolve to meet these challenges, relying heavily on advanced technologies such as AI, deep learning, and 3D imaging.
Kevin Hsu, CEO of SINTRONES, stated, "The requirements for semiconductor inspection are becoming more complex, necessitating higher resolutions and more sophisticated AI models. Just having computing power isn’t enough anymore; consistent performance, thermal stability, and rapid image processing are equally critical. Our goal is to provide the necessary computational foundation for industrial imaging developers to process more visual data, execute complicated AI models, and make inspection decisions in real-time."
Innovative Edge Computing Platforms
SINTRONES introduces the ABOX-5221(P)(G)-IP66, a platform integrating 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors, optional Intel® Arc™ GPU acceleration, dual 10 GbE and four 2.5 GbE ports with optional PoE+, IP66 protection, and up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM. This setup is tailored for high-resolution inspections and multi-camera imaging tasks. For computationally intensive applications, the ABOX-5221(P)(G)-LC uses SINTRONES' patented, fanless, pump-less liquid cooling technology, enhancing thermal efficiency up to five times while maintaining performance without thermal throttling.
Debuting at VISION 2026 is the ABOX-5222E featuring two PCIe-x16 expansion slots to accommodate scalable GPU and image processing enhancements, keeping pace with the increasing demand for AI inspection tasks.
Multi-Camera Edge Vision AI Solutions
In addition to standalone solutions, SINTRONES will present compact edge AI platforms capable of real-time 3D and multi-camera image processing. An example is the IBOX-604-G2, equipped with two GMSL2 cameras for object detection and distance estimation. Another noteworthy model is the rugged IBOX-601-M12X, which offers four GMSL2 camera interfaces for multi-camera AI inference and industrial inspection, thus enabling scalable implementations from proof-of-concept stages to complex industrial environments.
At VISION 2026, SINTRONES is committed to advancing AI-assisted industrial vision, enhancing the inspection processes for electronic components and semiconductors seamlessly. Visitors can experience how these technologies can revolutionize their operations, ensuring precision and efficiency in the inspection landscape.
