COCOLON's Presence at Kids Festa Tokyo 2026
The upcoming
Kids Festa Tokyo 2026, scheduled for April 18-19 at the
Ariake GYM-EX in Koto City, Tokyo, will serve as a crucial platform for families of children with severe disabilities. COCOLON, operated by the
NPO EPO, is committed to enhancing the lives of these families through its engaging community and vital resources.
Event Overview
Kids Festa Tokyo stands as Japan's largest welfare equipment exhibition for children, presenting a diverse range of products aimed at enhancing daily living experiences. Attendees can test wheelchairs, buggies, and various assistive devices that aid in bathing and mealtime. The hands-on nature of the exhibition allows families to determine which aids best suit their child's needs.
Despite the significance of such equipment in improving the quality of life and future prospects for these children, opportunities to explore them remain limited. This exhibition becomes a unique chance for families to see, touch, and learn about essential welfare equipment.

COCOLON: A Supportive Community
At our booth (F-60), we will proudly present various initiatives:
- - Event Highlights: With over 36 events and seminars planned for FY 2025, COCOLON focuses on making participation easy for families of children with severe disabilities. Visitors will learn about our events, including firsthand experiences that facilitate understanding and connection.
- - Kokone Asobi Play Program: Developed with insights from therapists and educators, this play program illustrates 60 innovative ways to engage children. While generally available online only, attendees can explore these resources in person at our booth, gaining easy-to-implement ideas for play at home or in facilities.
- - Support for New Establishments: We also provide valuable assistance for developing and managing specialized support centers for children requiring intensive care, ensuring that community services are accessible and of high quality, without the high costs typically associated with franchise models.
