What Does 'Interesting' Really Mean? Workshop
On December 7, 2025, the renowned Japanese copywriter Mitsuaki Imura will hold a one-day intensive workshop titled ‘What Does ‘Interesting’ Really Mean?’ hosted by Senden Kaigi Co., Ltd. This workshop aims to bolster skills for aspiring copywriters struggling with idea selection and refinement.
Characteristics of the Workshop
Mitsuaki Imura has an impressive portfolio, having worked on commercials for popular brands like Sakero Gummy and Fanta. In the fast-paced world of copywriting, many individuals can write copy, but often struggle when it comes to selecting the best ideas. This workshop emphasizes developing the ability to choose creative concepts and highlights the importance of refining and enhancing these ideas.
Imura's approach focuses on cultivating an internal standard for what is considered ‘interesting,’ helping attendees recognize great concepts that might otherwise be overlooked.
Practical Curriculum
This hands-on workshop features a meticulously structured curriculum divided into three main parts:
1.
Selection: Participants will engage in exercises where they choose effective copy from the provided options.
2.
Planning: Using the selected copy, attendees will plan a commercial and prepare their presentation.
3.
Competition/Refinement: In the final part, participants will collaboratively extract key phrases from their work and work on refining these elements.
With a small class size, participants will have ample opportunity to communicate with the instructor and receive personalized feedback.
