Enhancements to Premier and Plus Packages from Princess Cruises
Princess Cruises has recently made significant updates to its popular Premier and Plus packages, set to begin sale on July 22 for journeys in 2026. This revamp illustrates the cruise line's dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences, tailored to the evolving desires of travelers.
The newly revised packages incorporate a variety of appealing options that enhance flexibility and enjoyment for passengers. Among the most notable additions are expanded casual dining choices and increased shore excursion credits, aligning with feedback from guests seeking a richer travel experience.
New Package Pricing
For those interested in the Premier Package, the pre-cruise price will now be $100 per person per day, up from a previous rate of $90. Meanwhile, the Plus Package will see a slight increase, now priced at $65 per person per day. For the newly introduced Sphere class ships, Sun Princess and Star Princess, the Premier Package will be $105 per person per day, and the Plus Package $70 per person per day.
Both packages offer substantial savings, ranging between 50%-70% when compared to purchasing individual services separately.

Removal of Certain Features
In striving to make room for these guest-centric upgrades, Princess Cruises will be removing select package features that saw lower usage previously. These include premium desserts, access to the juice bar, Medallion shipping, fitness classes, and certain Princess prizes. This allows the company to shift focus towards offerings that enrich the guest experience.
A Commitment to Guest Feedback
Alfredo Jimenez, Vice President of Onboard Revenue at Princess Cruises, stated, “By thoughtfully evolving our packages, we're ensuring they reflect what our guests truly desire, more flexibility, enhanced culinary experiences, and opportunities to explore ashore, all while retaining the exceptional benefits they've come to expect.”
This statement encapsulates Princess Cruises’ ongoing commitment to improving and personalizing the vacation experience for travelers.
