We continue to lead the change in education and support for women’s health at midlife."
A Look at Kara Connell's Journey
Connell's professional journey began with earning an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, leading her to join GE's leadership track. There, she gained recognition for her professional excellence, particularly in fostering client-focused sales strategies in the Financial Services and Energy sectors.
After over five years in the Healthcare IT realm, Connell excelled in managing and developing the commercial strategy and operational capabilities for a significant sales and client management team within her previous organization. Her efforts during this time propelled the company through an IPO, substantial growth phases, and the complexities of an acquisition integration into Optum/UnitedHealth Group.
Recognized for her ability to connect with others and build meaningful communities, Connell's contributions are set to have a significant impact on the foundation and its audience. As the founder of My Perimeno-Posse, she aims to provide a secure digital space for women leaders, fostering dialogue, support, and resource-sharing amongst those facing similar challenges during the perimenopausal phase.
The Mission of the National Menopause Foundation
