Okaka, operated by Brand Bank Company, is famous for its fresh, fine-cut katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) and richly flavored dashi broth that brings to life seasonal dishes made from quality ingredients. The Dashi Shabu, their flagship menu item, allows diners to savor the natural umami of the ingredients combined with the aromatic dashi, providing a delightful culinary adventure.

Currently, Okaka is running a successful program at its Shinjuku branch, celebrating its 10th anniversary with this unlimited seasonal vegetable offer. Due to popular demand, this initiative will be extended to all branches for a limited time, allowing everyone to indulge in the taste of fresh seasonal vegetables alongside their Dashi Shabu.

The name 'Okaka' is derived from katsuobushi and embodies the restaurant's commitment to quality. They expertly shave the premium honkarebushi (top-grade dried bonito) to a remarkable 0.01 mm thickness using specialized equipment. The main attraction of Okaka is the additive-free, MSG-free Dashi Shabu that features their signature dashi broth, made fresh with the finest ingredients.
