Rapid Relief Team Supports Law Enforcement During National Police Week

In a heartfelt display of support and appreciation, the Rapid Relief Team (RRT), the charitable division of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church, dedicated a week to service during National Police Week, which took place in Washington, D.C. Throughout the week, over 60 volunteers traveled from across the United States and Canada to participate in various commemorative events, including the 38th Annual Candlelight Vigil and the 45th Annual National Peace Officers' Memorial Service. Together, they made a significant impact by serving more than 6,000 meals, distributing approximately 40,000 bottles of water, and providing around 4,000 cups of coffee to officers, families, and supporters attending these solemn gatherings.

RRT volunteers journeyed to the capital from numerous communities across North America, with representatives from Maryland, Pennsylvania, California, Connecticut, and even as far as Ontario and Saskatchewan in Canada.
