Santa Cruz County Bank (OTCQX: SCZC), recognized as a leading community bank in the area, has announced the appointment of Alison Voorhees to the position of Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing. With this new role, Ms. Voorhees will oversee all marketing initiatives from the bank’s headquarters located at 75 River St. in Santa Cruz, California.

Ms. Voorhees enters the bank with over 20 years of extensive marketing experience. Her career encompasses a broad range of specialties including branding, creative direction, and strategic marketing campaigns, as well as corporate communications and community relations. Additionally, she holds multiple professional certifications such as Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP), Certified Digital Marketing Professional, and Professional Certified Marketer (PCM®) in Digital Marketing.

With a solid foundation in event coordination and strategic business planning, she has established herself as an influential leader and community partner throughout her career.

In addition to her banking career, Ms. Voorhees has a rich background in fundraising and event management, which she developed while working for the Orlando Ballet and Opening Nights Performing Arts. Her education credentials include a Master of Arts in Global Communications from the University of Southern California, a Master of Science in Global Media and Communications from the London School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English from Florida State University. She further pursued academic excellence by earning a graduate certificate in Publishing and Editing and a certificate in Advertising Ethics.

As a community advocate, Ms. Voorhees is heavily involved in volunteer work, contributing her time and expertise to various causes in arts, elder care, literacy, and youth sports. Relocating from Tallahassee, Florida, she expresses her excitement about embarking on this new chapter at Santa Cruz County Bank.
