The creative unit daisydoze, renowned for its pioneering immersive theater productions in Japan, has partnered with ON THE TRIP to unveil an exciting new work titled 'Cat Town.' This performance will take place during the Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa 2025, a festival dedicated to celebrating art with a focus on the theme of the moon. EMerging on social media since its announcement, 'Cat Town' has quickly gained popularity, with tickets selling out almost daily.

The immersive theater experience designed for this project transforms the urban landscape of Shimokitazawa into a compelling narrative medium. Incorporating the historical essence of the surroundings, 'Cat Town' draws inspiration from the poet Sakutaro Hagiwara. Participants will walk through the actual streets from Shimokitazawa Station to Setagaya-Daita Station, guided by the voice of a “poet” narrating an evocative story through their earphones. This unique format blends real-life experiences with narrative depth and layers.

The Moon Art Night Shimokitazawa 2025 will run from September 19 to October 5, 2025. Last year, the festival attracted over 400,000 visitors, and this year's edition promises even greater excitement.
