Envision Energy's 2025 Net Zero Report: A Major Leap Towards Sustainability and Carbon Neutrality

Envision Energy's Commitment to a Sustainable Future

At the recent Smarter E Europe event held in Munich, Envision Energy, a prominent figure in the green technology sector, unveiled its 2025 Net Zero Action Report. This momentous report highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to combat climate change and its successes over the past years, particularly in achieving carbon neutrality for the third consecutive year since 2022.

Envision’s proactive measures towards sustainability have included fulfilling their RE100 commitment ahead of schedule, as they reached 100% renewable electricity usage in 2024. This incredible achievement is just part of a broader strategy aimed at minimizing environmental impact and setting industry benchmarks. In the report, it was revealed that the company managed to significantly reduce its Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, totaling merely 7,089 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent in 2024—a staggering 91% reduction from their baseline of 84,000 tonnes. This effusive success was due in large part to enhanced energy efficiency initiatives and a strategic shift towards renewable electricity sources.

Sustainable Supply Chains and Carbon Footprint Management

Envision is positioning itself as a leader in establishing a sustainable supply chain, which is a key pillar of its overall sustainability strategy. They are leveraging technology through the EnOS Ark Carbon Management System, urging all key suppliers to adopt greener practices. By the end of 2024, an impressive 18% of these suppliers had already transitioned to using 100% green electricity in their operations. The ambitious goal is for complete green power adoption throughout their core supply chain by 2028, a significant milestone that would set the stage for broader industry adaptations.

The company is also spearheading efforts to promote standardized product carbon footprint databases by collaborating with industry giants in the battery and photovoltaics sectors. By addressing critical data gaps, Envision aims to empower companies globally to rethink their value chains and enhance their competitiveness in the market.

One of the standout projects was in Chifeng, where Envision successfully developed a renewable hydrogen and ammonia project, receiving certification from Bureau Veritas for its initiatives. This has been recognized as one of the first global certifications of renewable ammonia. Moreover, at the Smarter E Europe event, they notably received TÜV SÜD's Carbon Footprint Certification for their energy storage cabinet, which is seen as a new industry benchmark.

Innovating with AI in Sustainability

Envision’s innovative approach does not stop at sustainable supply chains. Their integration of AI technologies into renewable energy products is transforming the landscape of energy efficiency and output optimization. The development of an AI-driven wind turbine system illustrates this commitment, allowing real-time adjustments to maximize renewable energy production while optimizing grid performance. The application of AI also extends to forecasting and pricing models, further enhancing how renewables function within energy markets.

Their green industrial projects, including the world's first net zero industrial park in Ordos, are setting new standards for sustainable manufacturing. The recent production of 300,000 tonnes at the Green Hydrogen-Ammonia Project in Chifeng marks an important milestone in the sector. Envision's upcoming Net-Zero Hydrogen Industrial Park in Spain is set to further contribute to Europe's decarbonization and industrial transformation, proving that sustainability and technological advancements can work hand in hand.

A Collaboration-driven Ecosystem for Net Zero...

In 2024, the emergence of a global net zero technology partner ecosystem helped Envision achieve significant breakthroughs. Their collaboration with Starbucks led to the transformation of the Starbucks Coffee Innovation Park into a campus powered entirely by renewable energy, cutting approximately 78,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. Further partnerships have also included collaboration with Merck China for enhanced green power procurement and the establishment of a green ammonia offtake agreement with Marubeni Corporation, validating its commercial viability.

As Envision continues to forge ahead in building a dynamic cross-sector net-zero ecosystem, their commitment remains clear: net zero is not merely an option but an imperative for future industries. The drive towards a sustainable and prosperous future is more achievable than ever, as Envision works alongside like-minded partners worldwide to tackle the pressing climate challenges.

Envision Energy's vision for a sustainable future is taking shape through innovative practices and partnerships. The insights gained from their 2025 Net Zero Action Report highlight actionable steps forward in the quest for environmental responsibility, demonstrating that each datum can spark a significant shift toward climate resilience on a global scale.
