At the 11th TÜV Rheinland Solar & ESS Congress, Trinasolar proudly announced that its Vertex N Shield module has received the prestigious Comprehensive Reliability Award, underscoring its exceptional quality and dependability in the rapidly evolving field of solar technology. The award was determined based on rigorous assessments across five critical parameters: temperature changes, mechanical load, dynamic stress, UV exposure, and moisture-induced freezing. The Vertex N Shield module outperformed its competitors with an impressive score of 94, securing the top position in all evaluated areas. This accolade reaffirms the module's long-term reliability, distinguishing it from competing products in the market.
According to Lei Gao, the Director of Global Solar Cell and Solar Product Management at Trinasolar, “It has been ten years since Trinasolar began enhancing its TOPCon technology. Receiving the Comprehensive Reliability Award for our TOPCon module in 2025 is a significant acknowledgment for us. The Vertex N Shield module is equipped with Trinasolar's cutting-edge i-TOPCon technology, which enhances its performance and durability. Notably, the glass used in this module is 25% thicker than that of conventional modules, providing a substantially greater impact resistance—up to 2.5 times greater. This durability is also recognized by the Renewable Energy Testing Center (RETC), which certifies that it can withstand hailstones up to 75mm at a 60-degree angle during severe storms.

Prior to this award, the Vertex N Shield module's high reliability was acknowledged in June when it secured the “High Achiever” title in various categories—TC600, DH2000, SDML, and PID—from RETC, highlighting its outstanding performance.

As the flagship product within Trinasolar’s TOPCon module line, the Vertex N Shield module serves as an integral component of the Shield Extreme Climate Solution, launched in March 2025.
