Aimee Goldman joins as the Commercial Director, bringing with her nearly 25 years of extensive experience in the shipping and logistics sector. Her substantial background includes notable roles at APL, where she excelled in Sales and Customer Service. Most recently, Aimee played a pivotal role at Kirkland's Home as Senior Manager of International Transportation, spearheading strategies to streamline and optimize international shipping operations. Her proficiency in navigating the intricacies of global supply chains, combined with her ability to cultivate relationships with ocean carriers, positions her as a valuable asset for Gemini's members.

Aimee holds a Bachelor of Science from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, where she graduated cum laude. Her educational background underscores her commitment to professional excellence and insight into industry trends, making her an ideal representative for the Gemini Shippers Association.

Meet Janet Torres



On the other hand, Janet Torres steps into the role of Inside Sales Analyst, equipped with 18 years of expertise in the logistics and forwarding fields. Her career journey includes formidable experiences with industry leaders such as JAS, Geodis Wilson, Hellmann, and most recently, RCS Logistics, where she served as an Inside Sales Coordinator. Her comprehensive knowledge surrounding freight forwarding will be instrumental in supporting existing members while simultaneously driving business development initiatives through inside sales.

Janet's academic journey began at Miami Dade College, where she laid a strong foundation for her career. Additionally, her completion of the CHB Customs Review program through Albizu University—Miami Campus, has equipped her with keen insights into customs and border regulations, positioning her ideally to support Gemini's membership in navigating such complexities.
