The LA Art Show Returns in 2027 with GLAAD as Charity Partner

The internationally recognized LA Art Show is scheduled to welcome art enthusiasts from January 6 to 10, 2027, at the iconic Los Angeles Convention Center's West Hall. This marks the 32nd rendition of the show, renowned for being the longest-standing art fair in Los Angeles. The show is anticipated to kick-start the 2027 art season with an impressive lineup of galleries and artists that reflect the city’s rich diversity and multicultural creativity.

A significant highlight of the upcoming event is the introduction of GLAAD as the official charity partner. GLAAD, a prominent nonprofit organization, is dedicated to advancing LGBTQ acceptance and promoting inclusive representation across various media forms. As part of this collaboration, 15% of ticket sales will be donated to further GLAAD’s mission. This partnership emphasizes the art fair’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.

In addition to the diverse exhibitions, the LA Art Show is proud to announce an alliance with Tixr as its new official ticketing partner. Tixr is a leader in live event ticketing, known for providing a seamless and modern purchasing experience for attendees. Tickets are currently available for purchase through Tixr.

Kassandra Voyagis, the producer and executive director of the LA Art Show, stated, "The LA Art Show has always been more than just a platform for showcasing art; it’s about connecting cultures, ideas, collectors, and audiences in meaningful ways. Entering into our 32nd year, we look forward to solidifying that legacy while collaborating with GLAAD and Tixr."

This year, the Art Under 10 fair will debut alongside the main event, specifically designed to cater to emerging galleries and contemporary works created within the past five years, all priced under $10,000. Scheduled from January 8 to 10 in Petree Hall, Art Under 10 seeks to promote accessibility within the art market and provide a dedicated space for up-and-coming galleries to engage with a wider audience. “Art Under 10 is a natural evolution to make contemporary art more approachable for first-time buyers and a new generation of collectors,” remarked Voyagis.

Attendees can expect to see more than 90 exhibitors at LA Art Show 2027, including both familiar and new names from around the globe. Notable returning galleries include JS Gallery from Greece, Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery, and Arcadia Contemporary from New York, alongside other recognized establishments. Newcomers such as Avant Gallery from Miami and Bluerider ART from Taipei will also make their debut, adding to the diverse array of international perspectives.

A key thematic component this year is DIVERSEartLA, which will dive deep into “The Future as a Collaborative Human Experience.” Curated by Marisa Caichiolo, who has previously showcased at the Venice Art Biennale, this facet of the exhibition aims to explore interdisciplinary collaboration across various fields such as architecture, art, and law, inviting visitors to reimagine the potential for collective futures.

Following the LA Art Show, the East Coast counterpart, Art Palm Beach, will take place from January 27 to 31, 2027, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center. Together, these fairs are establishing a broader connection for galleries, collectors, and cultural communities across two major U.S. art markets.

This year's event promises to be an inclusive celebration of contemporary art and a significant step toward improving representation and acceptance within the art community. For more details, visit www.laartshow.com.
