JuliaHub Partners with Synopsys for Advanced Digital Twins
In a significant move for the tech and simulation industries, JuliaHub, a leader in AI-native simulation and modeling, has formed a strategic alliance with Synopsys (NASDAQ: SNPS). This partnership aims to integrate Dyad, JuliaHub’s flagship advanced simulation platform, into Synopsys’ Ansys TwinAI™ software. The collaboration leverages JuliaHub's expertise in AI-driven, physics-based simulation, mixed with Synopsys’ own digital twin technology, to accelerate innovation in hardware design and system optimization.
Understanding the Integration of Dyad and TwinAI
The integration of Dyad into TwinAI allows organizations to validate and operate digital twins in cloud environments compatible with advanced simulation engines, operating systems, and data flows. TwinAI provides capabilities for simulating digital twins, enhancing model accuracy through hybrid analyses, and streamlining cloud deployment. With the integration of Dyad, TwinAI now allows for the combination of physics-based simulation with adaptive AI models. This innovation enables engineers to create what are termed 'hybrid digital twins,' which are both predictive and grounded in physical laws.
Dr. Prith Banerjee, Senior Vice President at Synopsys, noted, "A digital twin is more than just a model; it embodies a living and dynamic representation of a system. By integrating Dyad and JuliaHub’s SciML technology, TwinAI empowers engineers to develop digital twins that evolve with data, bridging the gap between simulation and reality."
Enhanced Modeling Capabilities
The acausal component-based modeling and automated equation generation provided by Dyad facilitate the efficient design and scaling of complex, multi-domain systems. When combined with Ansys simulation capabilities, this integration opens new doors for real-time simulation, predictive analytics, and scalable deployment of digital twins in the cloud.
Viral B. Shah, CEO and co-founder of JuliaHub, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration: "This partnership brings JuliaHub's scientific machine learning innovations to one of the most trusted simulation ecosystems in the world. Together, we are paving the way for the next generation of intelligent, adaptive, explainable digital twins grounded in sound physics principles."
Upcoming versions of Ansys TwinAI will include features that leverage Dyad integration, with functionalities rolling out over time. More detailed information will be released as development progresses.
