Okayama University Celebrates New Staff Orientation Ceremony for April 2025 Hires

Okayama University Welcomes Future Staff Members



On April 1, 2025, Okayama University, located in Okayama City under the leadership of President Yasuhiro Nasu, conducted an orientation ceremony for newly appointed staff members at the Tsushima Campus Administration Building. This important event was attended by a total of nine administrative future staff members, who received their official appointment letters from Tetsuya Ogoshio, the Executive Director in charge of finance and facilities, as well as the Secretary General.

The ceremony emphasized the significance of teamwork and collaboration as the new hires engaged in discussions with current staff members. A total of 19 individuals participated, including those already working at the university. The meeting fostered an inclusive environment where the future staff members had the opportunity to share ideas, gain insights, and build rapport with one another.

Prior to the closing of the orientation, the new hires expressed their aspirations for their upcoming roles, emphasizing their commitment to becoming integral members of the Okayama University community. One expressed, "I am dedicated to working diligently as a part of Okayama University from April onward." Following the ceremony, the new staff members took the opportunity to connect with each other, deepening their relationships while solidifying their new identities as university staff.
